This position is much more than cuddling puppies—it requires patience, teamwork, strong observation skills, and a genuine commitment to the health, happiness, and safety of every dog in our care. As a Doggy Daycare Attendant, you will play an essential role in creating a fun, structured environment where dogs can socialize, exercise, and thrive while ensuring our facility remains clean, organized, and welcoming. Responsibilities Supervise indoor and outdoor daycare playgroups while ensuring safe, appropriate play. Monitor dog body language and behavior to prevent conflicts and promote positive interactions. Learn each dog's personality, play style, and temperament to help create successful playgroups. Provide enrichment, exercise, affection, and individual attention throughout the day. Assist with safely introducing new dogs into daycare playgroups. Observe dogs for signs of illness, injury, stress, or behavioral changes and report concerns immediately. Maintain open communication with team members to ensure consistent care for every dog. Follow all company safety procedures and handling protocols. Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by cleaning kennels, daycare rooms, outdoor play yards, grooming areas, and common spaces. Sweep, mop, disinfect, wash dishes, complete laundry, empty trash, and perform other general cleaning duties. Assist the boarding and grooming teams when needed to ensure exceptional care throughout the facility. Help create a positive experience for both our canine guests and their owners through professionalism, teamwork, and compassionate care. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Reliable transportation. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active throughout an entire shift. Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Dependable, punctual, and hardworking. Ability to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment. Ability to pass a background check.
