Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caretaker to provide exceptional care for animals in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care, with skills in pet handling and customer service. This role involves ensuring the well-being of pets, maintaining cleanliness, and providing support to pet owners. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising pets. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all animals in your care. Engage with pets through play and training activities to promote their physical and mental well-being. Handle various breeds of dogs and other animals with confidence and care. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving pet supplies or larger animals. Communicate effectively with staff to ensure pets well-being. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management Requirements Previous experience in animal care, such as pet sitting, dog handling, or working as a veterinary technician is preferred. Strong knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed in the course of daily tasks. Certification or training in dog training or veterinary assistance is a plus. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Pay:
