Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Pet Attendant to join our team. Pet Attendants are responsible for supervising dogs in daycare and boarding, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and providing excellent care and attention to every pet in our facility. This role is ideal for someone who loves dogs, works well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being active throughout the day. Responsibilities Supervise and safely manage group dog play sessions Monitor dog behavior and intervene appropriately when needed Clean play areas, kennels, and common spaces throughout the day Feed, medicate, and provide water to pets as directed Assist with pet check-ins and check-outs Maintain accurate notes regarding pet behavior, feeding, and health Follow all safety, sanitation, and animal handling procedures Assist with bathing and basic grooming services when needed Provide exceptional customer service to pet parents Work closely with team members to maintain smooth daily operations Qualifications Must love dogs and be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment Weekend and holiday availability required Previous animal care or daycare experience preferred but not required Preferred Skills Knowledge of dog body language and behavior Experience working in dog daycare, boarding, veterinary, or grooming environments Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

$13.00 per hour
