Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dog Groomer to join our dynamic pet care team! In this role, you will deliver exceptional grooming services that enhance the health, comfort, and appearance of our canine clients. Your expertise in pet coat styling, animal handling, and customer communication will ensure each pet receives personalized care in a safe and loving environment. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and pet coat maintenance tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle dogs with gentle confidence, ensuring their safety and comfort through proper animal restraint and handling techniques Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, brushing, and other grooming procedures with precision and care Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide advice on pet coat care and maintenance Maintain a clean, organized grooming station by sanitizing tools and work areas regularly Assist with pet care routines such as feeding or administering medications if needed during grooming sessions Support team members with animal handling during appointments, ensuring safe heavy lifting when necessary for larger breeds or equipment Qualifications Proven experience as a professional dog groomer with a strong portfolio of grooming styles and techniques Knowledge of dog training principles and veterinary experience is highly desirable Background in veterinary technician or veterinary assistant roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with animal health needs Skilled in animal handling, pet restraint, and safe lifting practices for various dog sizes Excellent communication skills to engage with pet owners confidently and professionally Ability to perform pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, bathing, brushing, and styling with attention to detail Experience in customer service within a pet care setting is preferred Physical ability to stand for extended periods, perform heavy lifting safely, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us to make a positive difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
