Join our team at Karnik Pet Lodge, where we care for pets like family. We're hiring both Full-Time and Part-Time Attendants to supervise, engage, and care for dogs in our daycare and boarding facility. This is a tipped position . The base rate is $12/hour , with an average of $2/hour in tips paid out weekly , bringing total take-home pay to approximately $14/hour . Base rate is flexible for candidates with strong relevant experience. Staff are paid every Friday for the prior Sunday-Saturday work week. Availability We are open 630am-630pm Monday to Saturday + 8am-6pm on Sunday Flexibility is a plus Weekends and holidays are required for this role as we are open 365 days per year in order to care for our guests Perks & Benefits Tips paid 100% back to staff weekly Free Daycare for your dog while working ( must pass temperament evaluation and be current on required vaccinations) 401(k) Flexible schedule On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Employee discount Responsibilities Supervise and monitor dogs in daycare to ensure safety and well-being Lead playtime, interactive games, and exercise with the dogs Maintain a clean, sanitary environment — kennels, play areas, and common spaces Monitor dog behavior and manage pack dynamics Keep accurate records of each dog's activities, behavior, and owner instructions What We're Looking For A genuine love of animals — required Animal handling experience (vet clinic, shelter, kennel, or similar) — preferred but not required Willingness to learn animal care best practices Team player with strong communication skills Comfortable interacting professionally with pet owners Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
