In this energetic role, you will be a Lead in growing our new grooming department and dog spa. Our spa will concentrate on pet wellness and monthly grooming visits from pets. You will be responsible for providing top-quality grooming services, ensuring the health and safety of animals in our kennel facilities, and delivering outstanding customer service. Compensation will include hourly wage work bath, brush services, plus percentage of the groom for full haircuts and styling. You must provide your own professional tools. Basic tools and shampoos are provided. Duties Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, and ear cleaning to ensure animals look and feel their best Handle dogs and other animals with care, using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming stations and kennel areas to promote a healthy environment Assist with animal handling during intake, check-in, and check-out processes while communicating effectively with pet owners about care needs Provide pet sitting and boarding services, ensuring animals are comfortable, safe, and well-cared-for during their stay Heavy lifting of animals or supplies may be required; maintain proper lifting techniques to prevent injury Experience Certification in pet grooming and at least one year experience in dog grooming.
