Duties Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure both pet and groomer safety during grooming procedures Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat styling with precision and care Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming requests, provide updates on pet behavior, and offer advice on ongoing pet care needs Assist with dog training exercises or behavioral assessments as needed to facilitate smooth grooming sessions Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, workstations, and bathing areas to uphold hygiene standards Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care. Knowledge of animal handling techniques, animal restraint methods, and pet coat styling best practices Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members effectively Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to assist with larger animals or equipment A compassionate attitude combined with energetic enthusiasm for working with animals in a fast-paced setting.
