Job Description

Description:
Cat's Critters is looking for a reliable, animal-experienced individual to assist with weekly animal care at a private residence. This role involves hands-on care for a variety of exotic animals including skunks, coatis, large birds, and large reptiles. Some animals can be unpredictable or potentially dangerous if handled incorrectly, so confidence, awareness, and respect for safety protocols are essential.
Schedule:
1 day per week 6-8 hour shift Includes a paid 30-60 minute break Responsibilities Feeding and watering animals Cleaning enclosures and replacing bedding Performing wellness checks Following detailed care and safety instructions Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
Comfortable working with exotic and potentially dangerous animals Able to follow safety protocols exactly Reliable transportation (location is in Blanchard) Able to work independently and stay on task Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Dependable and consistent Strong work ethic/ speed Preferred (not required): Experience with exotic animals, birds, or reptiles Pre-vet, animal science, or related background
