Job Overview Please read entire description. We are a locally owned dog boarding and daycare facility seeking a dedicated and reliable dog daycare & boarding attendant to join our team. Your love for animals and commitment to their well-being will be crucial as you interact with various breeds, ensuring they receive the attention and care they deserve throughout the day. We pride ourselves on amazing customer service and facility cleanliness. At this time we are not looking for seasonal applicants . Must be available minimum 25 hours per week but will hire full time up to 40 hours per week. Duties (Includes But Not Limited To) Supervise dogs during playtime to ensure their safety and enjoyment. Maintain cleanliness of the daycare and boarding facility. Basic pet care tasks such as feeding, grooming, and medicating as needed. Work diligently to complete tasks in a timely manner. Provide excellent customer service. Be a team player with excellent work ethic. Knowledge of dog behavior and animal handling practices is preferred. Must have confidence when working with large groups of dogs. Strong physical ability to handle heavy lifting and active engagement with dogs throughout the day. Working Hours Shift hours vary but staffed hours are typically as follows : Monday through
Friday:
7:00am to 12pm and 2:00pm to 6:30pm
Weekends:
7:45 to 10:45am and 3:45 to 6:45pm
NON-NEGOTIABLES
  • Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be available weekends (minimum one weekend day per week) and willing to work on or around holidays.
  • Applicants must be a resident year round. We are currently not looking for seasonal applicants.
  • Must be able to be lift 50lb+ and stand for extended periods of time (shift max is 5 hours).
  • Resume, weekly availability, and references are a requirement for this position.
Pay:
From $12.00 per hour
