Job Description

Thank you for expressing interest in being a part of our fantastic team of animal lovers. We have created a multiple step hiring process to help us find the next perfect addition to our team. Our goal is to build a long term relationship with our potential new hire and this process will help us get to know you better. This is about more than just submitting a resume and waiting for a call. Qualifying candidates will be scheduled for a phone interview and should expect 10 questions taking approximately 30 minutes or less. After completing the phone interview, leading candidates will be asked to answer more questions via email. Joining the Fur Night and Day team is an excellent opportunity for you to get a stepping stone into the animal care industry. We want to help you reach your personal goals as well as getting the best people to care for the amazing animal guests that frequent our establishment. We have had members of our staff go on to reach their goals of becoming veterinary technicians and have even had staff open up their very own pet boarding facility! We also have growth opportunities within our company. We are looking for a hard-working and dedicated animal lover to join our team. Applicants with experience from a prior job in animal care are preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate!
Duties consist of:
lots of cleaning, feeding, watering, baths, watching and playing with dogs and cats under our care and more. You must be physically fit, able to lift 50 lbs and able to handle large groups of dogs. This job is a lot of fun but it can be very physically demanding at times. Reliable transportation and being on time is a must.
  • -You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends and holidays as we are open 7am
  • 7pm, 7 days a week.
  • -Shifts are 6:45am-2:45pm or 1pm-Close (~7-7:30pm) Must be able to work either shift if needed.
Job Types:
Full-time (5 days a week)/Part-time (less than 5 days a week)
Salary:
$10 /hour
  • All of our staff will start at this wage. We do performance evaluations after 90 days as well as annually with the possibility of a raise based on job performance.
