Your expertise in pet coat styling, animal handling, and customer communication will ensure every pet leaves feeling happy, healthy, and looking their best. Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling to meet each pet's specific needs and breed standards Handle animals safely and compassionately during grooming procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming environment by disinfecting tools and work areas regularly Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide professional advice on pet coat care Restrain animals safely using appropriate techniques to prevent injury during grooming tasks such as nail trimming or ear cleaning Assist with animal handling duties beyond grooming, including kennel care, laundry, and more Heavy lifting of animals or equipment may be required; ensure proper technique to prevent injury Skills Ability to perform pet nail trimming, bathing, brushing, and other grooming tasks efficiently Proven experience in pet grooming with a focus on coat styling and pet care techniques Knowledge of dog training principles and animal handling best practices Strong dog handling skills combined with animal restraint expertise for safe grooming sessions Excellent communication skills to engage with pet owners confidently and professionally Experience with animal care routines such as kennel management or heavy lifting of animals or supplies Customer service-oriented mindset with a genuine love for animals and their well-being
