We're looking for an experienced groomer to join our team to work in our newly built grooming area. Flexible scheduling available. One on one appointment-only atmosphere, must be comfortable working alone. We're searching for someone who is dependable, professional, and comfortable communicating with both clients and coworkers. Grooming is a new service being offered through our business, so do not expect full books day one. Please only apply if you are comfortable with a work load that will grow with time. Role Responsibilities Provide complete grooming services for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and coat types Perform bathing, brushing, coat trimming, and nail care to meet client requests Maintain a calm, safe experience for each dog throughout the grooming process Keep the grooming space clean, organized, and sanitized Discuss grooming preferences with pet owners and address questions as needed Observe dogs for any skin, coat, or behavioral concerns and share relevant notes with clients Offer basic care services including ear cleaning, gland expression, and teeth brushing What We're Looking For A minimum of one year of recent professional grooming experience (2+ years preferred) Strong knowledge of breed standards and grooming techniques Confidence using grooming tools and equipment Ability to safely handle dogs of varying sizes and temperaments Clear communication skills and a client-friendly attitude are required! Ability to lift heavier dogs when required Please submit a small cover letter/bio so we can learn a little bit more about you in your voice.
