Pet Groomer | Mobile Grooming The Lion's Mane Mobile Grooming is growing, and we're looking for an experienced pet groomer to join our team in Vancouver, WA/Portland OR! If you love grooming but are tired of the traditional salon environment, mobile grooming offers something completely different: one-on-one appointments, your own workspace, less chaos, and the ability to focus entirely on the pet in front of you. No previous mobile grooming experience is required. If you're an experienced salon groomer, we'll help you make the transition! Compensation $300-$500 per day + 100% of tips Compensation is commission-based and depends on the services completed each day. Our average grooming appointment is approximately $160, with most routes consisting of approximately 5-7 pets per day. You keep 100% of your tips. What Your Day Looks Like You'll start your day in one of our fully equipped mobile grooming vans and travel to scheduled appointments throughout Vancouver and the surrounding area. A typical route consists of approximately 5-7 pets per day depending on breed, size, coat condition, services requested, and drive time. Mobile grooming is fast-paced, so we're looking for someone who can produce high-quality work while managing their time and staying on schedule. At the same time, you'll have the benefit of working with one pet at a time without the noise and distractions of a busy salon. What We're Looking For Professional pet grooming experience Comfortable performing full-service grooms independently Experience with a variety of breeds, coat types, and sizes Ability to complete breed-standard and customer-requested cuts Comfortable bathing, drying, brushing, deshedding, nail trimming, and finishing Excellent time-management skills Dependable and punctual Comfortable driving a mobile grooming van Friendly and professional with customers Takes pride in keeping their grooming space clean and organized Mobile grooming experience is NOT required. Do You Groom Cats? We'd especially love to hear from you! Cat grooming experience is a major plus, but it is not required for this position. We're looking to expand our mobile cat grooming services and would love to bring on someone comfortable working with both dogs and cats.
