Responsibilities Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling coats to meet breed standards and owner preferences Handle animals with care and confidence, utilizing proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff Provide pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other hygiene treatments to promote overall health and comfort Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming needs, provide recommendations, and discuss pet care instructions Assist with animal handling during grooming procedures, ensuring calmness and cooperation through gentle techniques Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, adhering to sanitation protocols and safety guidelines Support pet sitting or pet care duties as needed, including basic veterinary assistance or veterinary technician tasks if qualified Experience Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred Background in veterinary experience, veterinary technician roles, or veterinary assistant positions is advantageous Knowledge of dog training techniques and equine experience can enhance your ability to handle diverse animals confidently Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members effectively Familiarity with animal restraint methods and pet coat styling techniques ensures high-quality grooming results Experience in customer service environments helps deliver a positive experience for clients and their pets Join us in creating paw-sitive moments!
