ParaMount Pet Care is looking for a dependable Pet Sitter & Dog Walker to serve Mountain Top, PA and nearby areas in Luzerne County. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being active, working independently, and giving pets top-quality care. About Our Company ParaMount Pet Care is a locally owned pet care service offering in-home pet sitting, daily dog walks, pet transportation, and basic house care throughout Luzerne County. We focus on reliability, safety, and treating every pet like a member of the family, while using an easy-to-use app to keep pet parents informed and reassured. What This Job Involves In this position, you will: Visit clients' homes to care for dogs, cats, and small pets Walk dogs according to each pet's routine and energy level Provide food, fresh water, and medications when required Handle pet-related clean-up, including waste pick-up and litter box maintenance Keep an eye on each pet's behavior and health, and report any concerns Send updates and photos to clients through our pet care app after each visit Maintain a calm, safe, and positive environment for every animal in your care Day-to-Day Expectations Walk dogs one-on-one or in small, safe groups with strong leash control Follow written care instructions and household guidelines exactly Manage special feeding routines and medications as directed by clients Offer playtime, affection, and companionship to pets of different ages and personalities Complete light household tasks such as bringing in mail or watering plants when requested Use the Time To Pet app to check in and out of visits and communicate with clients Who Will Do Well in This Role Has experience with animals (your own pets, volunteering, or prior pet jobs) Truly enjoys being around animals of all kinds Can safely handle and walk dogs of varying sizes and strength Is reliable, organized, punctual, and detail-focused Communicates clearly and respectfully with clients and teammates Has consistent access to a car and a smartphone Feels comfortable working solo while following company standards Has flexible availability, including some mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Is willing to complete a background check What You'll Gain A supportive team of fellow pet lovers and backup coverage when needed Use of professional pet care software for simple scheduling and messaging Flexible hours that can fit around other responsibilities Chances to grow your skills in pet care, behavior, and client service The satisfaction of helping pets feel safe at home and giving owners peace of mind If you're ready to help pets and their people in Mountain Top and across Luzerne County, we invite you to apply and join the ParaMount Pet Care team.
