Job Overview Join our professional pet care team as a Dog Daycare Attendant, where your knowledge for dogs and dedication to their well-being will shine. In this active role, you'll create a safe and engaging environment for dogs of all sizes and temperaments in our outdoor play yards. Your proactive approach will ensure each pet receives personalized attention, proper handling, and the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with dogs while contributing to a positive experience for pet owners. Responsibilities Supervise and monitor dogs during playtime, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all pets involved Assist with dog handling, behavior management, and training support as needed Maintain cleanliness of the facility by sanitizing kennels, play areas, and equipment to promote animal health and safety Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and behaviors Engage dogs in outdoor activities such as walks or supervised play to promote physical activity and mental stimulation Follow proper animal handling procedures and safety protocols at all times to prevent injuries or accidents Skills Understanding of dog behavior and body language is needed in assessing temperament and responding appropriately during interactions Confident management of various dog temperaments Physical strength for walking dogs to and from activities, managing them during play and for outdoor activities in all weather conditions Knowledge of dog handling best practices to ensure safety for pets and staff Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Misty Pines Pet Company has been serving the community since 1975! Pay:

$15.00 - $18.50 per hour
