Overview Join our team as a Weekend Kennel Assistant, where your passion for animal care and enthusiasm for teamwork will shine! In this vital role, you will ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our animal guests. Your dedication will directly contribute to the well-being of animals and support our company in delivering exceptional care. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in pet handling, husbandry, and pet care with room to grow! Responsibilities Provide attentive dog and cat care by feeding, watering, cleaning kennels, and monitoring the health status of animals. Maintain accurate record keeping of animal treatments, behaviors, and daily activities to ensure seamless communication within the team. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols to promote a safe working environment. Assist with cleaning and disinfecting kennels, rooms, and equipment. Support client communication by providing updates on animal welfare and answering basic questions about pet care when appropriate. Work Saturdays and Sundays 7:30-4 or 5.
