Responsibilities Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling of dog coats to meet breed standards and customer preferences Handle animals safely and compassionately during grooming procedures, utilizing proper restraint techniques to ensure pet and personal safety Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and other hygienic care tasks with precision and care Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming requests, provide updates on pet behavior or health concerns, and offer grooming recommendations Maintain a clean and organized grooming station by sanitizing tools and work areas regularly Assist with pet handling during check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a positive experience for both pets and owners Skills Proven experience in pet grooming with a focus on dog coat styling and pet care techniques Knowledge of animal handling, restraint methods, and safe grooming practices across various breeds and sizes Strong communication skills to engage with pet owners confidently and professionally Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary Familiarity with dog training principles and canine behavior management strategies Excellent customer service skills combined with a genuine love for animals to ensure client satisfaction Join us in creating a welcoming environment where pets are pampered and owners leave delighted!
