Job Description

The National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME) is hiring a full-time Administrative Associate for
C3DO , SP
Training to support the Professional Development Initiatives, particularly the Core Competency Capstone for DOs (C3DO). The Administrative Associate for
C3DO, SP
Training will be responsible for coordination in two areas: standardized patient (SP) training/QA and participating colleges of osteopathic medicine (COMs). For SP training/QA, the Associate will provide support to the SP Education Specialist and the Case Development and Quality Assurance Analyst, responsible for checking COM SP training progress, scheduling SP contractors and CARE benchmarking sessions, and tracking SP QA assignments. For COM coordination, the Associate will work closely with COMs as they prepare for and administer the Core Competency Capstone for DOs (C3DO), assisting with the COMs' preparation timelines, facilitating meetings with the COMs, aiding the COMs with issues as they arise, providing materials to the COMs, tracking COM progress, and keeping the NBOME team apprised. The position has a hybrid work schedule with two day optional remote days (Monday & Friday) and three mandatory onsite days (Tuesday through Thursday) in our Conshohocken office. The work week is typically 37.5 hours.

Professional Development Initiatives Responsibilities:
Administrative support for C3DO, including but not limited to:
  • Coordinates COM timelines, milestones, and meetings according to C3DO requirements, team resources, and COM needs; provides ongoing support to COMs' C3DO teams, including meeting scheduling and facilitation; tracks and reports on COM progress.
  • Checks COM SP training progress and document submission; assists with scheduling and preparation for CARE benchmarking; schedules SP contractors, tracks SP QA assignment completion, and prepares SP contractor invoices; and collaborates with
NBOME IT
regarding the C3DO Smart SP QA rating tool.
  • Performs administrative duties (e.g., scheduling, minutes) for the CARE subcommittee and provides administrative support for standard setting meetings, case development workshops, and other meetings/workshops as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or senior Leadership staff
Qualifications:
  • College degree, required
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a role that involves customer service.
  • Experience as a standardized patient (SP) or in SP training, a plus.
  • Experience with project management and/or clinical skills assessment, a plus
  • Intermediate level skills in Zoom or Microsoft Teams, preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint
  • Strong organizational, written and oral communication and time management skills

$25.50 - $26.50 per hour Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
