Duties Take dogs on engaging walks tailored to their energy levels and needs, ensuring proper leash handling and safety protocols. Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication if needed, and maintaining a clean environment. Monitor animals' behavior closely, recognizing signs of stress or discomfort, and employing appropriate restraint or calming techniques. Maintain detailed logs of pet activities, health observations, and any incidents during visits. Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' status and any concerns that arise during care sessions. Qualifications Prior experience in veterinary settings, animal handling, or pet care facilities is highly desirable. Strong dog handling skills with knowledge of animal restraint and behavior management techniques. Experience working with dogs and cats. Knowledge of pet behaviors to ensure safe interactions. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members. Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions while maintaining high standards of animal care. Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and long periods of walking or standing during outdoor activities.
