We are seeking energetic and experienced Groomers to join our team in full-time or part-time roles! As a Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring pets look and feel their best while providing exceptional care and customer service. Your expertise in pet grooming, animal handling, and pet care will help create a positive experience for both pets and their owners. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with animals daily, utilizing your skills to enhance their well-being and appearance. Duties Perform professional grooming services including nail clipping/grinding, anal expression, teeth brushing bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing touches tailored to each pet's breed and individual needs and any service a groomer/company provides for grooming services Handle dogs and other small animals with care, ensuring safe restraint and comfort during grooming sessions Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming environment by disinfecting tools, tubs, and work areas regularly Assess each pet's condition, noting any signs of health issues or behavioral concerns, and communicate findings to clients or veterinary staff as needed Assist with pet training or behavioral guidance when appropriate to ensure smooth grooming sessions Provide excellent customer service by discussing grooming preferences, offering advice on pet care, and addressing client questions or concerns Support kennel or animal handling duties as required, including heavy lifting of animals or equipment Skills Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of different coat types and breed standards Knowledge of grooming best practices for the industry Familiarity with animal restraint methods to ensure safety during grooming and handling Strong animal care skills to ensure the pets are handles with care at ALL times.
