Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Pet Sitter to provide exceptional care for pets in their home environment. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and the ability to ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness while their owners are away. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to keep pet owners informed about their furry family members. Must also be comfortable with walking bigger dogs. Duties Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed. Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during visits. Maintain a clean and healthy environment for the pets, including cleaning litter boxes and pet areas. Engage in playtime and exercise activities to keep pets active and entertained. Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the owner promptly. Provide basic grooming services such as brushing and bathing when necessary. Maintain open communication with pet owners regarding their pet's status during the sitting period. Experience Previous experience in pet care or related fields such as veterinary technician, dog handling, or animal restraint is preferred. Experience with various types of animals including dogs, cats, equine, or other small animals is beneficial. Knowledge of basic dog training techniques is an advantage but not mandatory. A strong understanding of animal behavior will enhance your ability to manage different situations effectively.
