Available Positions:

We are currently hiring for the following roles: 1. Drop-In Visits, Dog Walking, Adventure Walks, & Pet Taxi (Care in Client's Home)

Duties Include:

Traveling to clients' homes to provide pet care services. Following client care instructions with attention to detail. Providing photos and detailed updates for pet owners after each visit. Walking dogs safely in private and public spaces (including larger dogs that may pull). Adhering to Fear Free animal handling and training principles. Feeding, administering medications, and cleaning up after pets of all kinds, including cats. Conducting complimentary meet-and-greets for new clients. Managing bookings, calendars, and client communication using online tools. Serving Sioux Falls and surrounding towns such as Brandon, Tea, Harrisburg, Renner, etc. 2. Homestays (Overnight & Daytime Care in Client's Home)

Duties Include:

Standard Homestay:

Providing in-home overnight care from 9 PM - 7 AM . Performing two daily 30-minute drop-in visits: one between 11 AM - 1 PM, and one between 4 - 7 PM .

Extended Standard Homestay:

Providing in-home overnight care from 9 PM - 7 AM . Performing two daily 60-minute drop-in visits: one between 11 AM - 1 PM, and one between 4 - 7 PM .

Overnight Homestay:

Providing in-home overnight care from 9 PM - 7 AM .

Daytime Homestay:

Providing in-home daytime care between the hours of 7 AM and 9 PM. Minimum of 3 hour duration. Following client care instructions and providing updates with photos. Ensuring the safety of pets on walks and during all interactions. Adhering to Fear Free animal handling and training principles. Feeding, administering medications, and cleaning up after pets of all kinds, including cats. Conducting complimentary meet-and-greets for new clients. Managing bookings, calendars, and client communication using online tools. Serving Sioux Falls and surrounding towns such as Brandon, Tea, Harrisburg, Renner, etc. 3. Dog Boarding, Doggy Daycare, & Pet Taxi (Care in Your Own Home)

Duties Include:

Providing dog boarding and daycare in your own home. Maintaining a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. Offering pet taxi services to and from clients' homes if needed. Following detailed client care instructions and providing daily updates. Ensuring pets receive exercise, enrichment, and supervised playtime. Walking dogs safely in public and private settings. Adhering to Fear Free animal handling and training principles. Feeding, administering medications, and ensuring proper hygiene. Conducting complimentary meet-and-greets for new clients. Managing bookings, calendars, and client communication using online tools.

Who We're Looking For:

We need responsible, caring, and professional pet sitters who: Have experience working with pets (professional, volunteer, or extensive personal experience reading animal body language and behavior). Are eager to learn and grow in their pet care knowledge. Are available during preferred time frames: Drop-in visits, dog walking, pet taxi: Monday-Friday 7 AM-10 AM, 11 AM-2 PM, or 4-9 PM ; Saturday-Sunday availability preferred.

Homestays:

Overnight 9 PM-7 AM , plus daytime 30-minute or 60-minute drop-in visits between 11 AM-1 PM and 4-7 PM . Daytime homestays between 7 AM-9PM.

Dog boarding/daycare:

Individuals who are home most of the time, especially on weekends. Enjoy working independently in an active, outdoor environment. Are detail-oriented, organized, and committed to providing the best care possible. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure a 5-star customer experience. Understand that work may start slowly but will grow as the business expands, with summers and holidays being the busiest seasons. Are comfortable being an independent contractor , handling their own taxes, work expenses, and materials. Independent contractor position with commission-based pay ( you keep 70% of service fees + all of your tips ). Flexible schedule - you choose which bookings you want to accept.
