Pet and Home Care is hiring full-time Professional Pet Sitters to join our trusted team in Montgomery and Frederick Counties. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented pet lovers who enjoy working independently and are comfortable using mobile platforms to deliver world-class service. As a Pet Sitter and Field Operations Specialist , you'll service a territory of client homes throughout Montgomery County or Frederick County (depending on where your reside), using our proprietary mobile systems to ensure every pet receives extraordinary care. This role offers independence, outdoor activity, and the chance to work with cute and cuddly creatures! What You'll Do Care for
Pets:
Walks, potty breaks, feedings, playtime, snuggles, and more! We care for our clients' pets like they're our own!
Own Your Route:
Use our scheduling and reporting app to manage real-time GPS routing, time-stamped check-ins, and digital service logs for each client visit.
Take Pictures and Videos:
Shoot and upload high-quality content of pets to provide clients with real-time "peace of mind" via our platform.
Follow Detailed Instructions:
Adhere to our points of service and follow our clients' specific pet care notes (nutrition, medical protocols, and behavioral routines) with 100% accuracy.
Field Communications:
Provide professional, concise digital correspondence to clients and the headquarters team.
Preferred Candidates Pet Lover:
You have 1+ year of professional pet care experience (Vet Tech, Kennel, Training) or 5+ years of dedicated pet ownership.
Tech-Fluent:
You are a "power user" of mobile apps (iOS or Android) and can troubleshoot basic connectivity or software issues in the field.
Logistics-Minded:
You excel at time management and can optimize your route efficiently.
Security-Conscious:
You have a high degree of situational awareness and take pride in securing physical assets (keys, alarms, and smart locks).
Requirements Experience:
1+ year of professional pet care experience OR 5+ years as a dedicated pet owner.
Availability:
Consistent weekly schedule (minimum 30 hours). Candidates MUST be available to work weekends and at least some holidays.
Mobility:
A valid driver's license, a reliable insured vehicle, and a modern smartphone.
Physicality:
Ability to handle dogs of all sizes on leash and remain active outdoors in various weather conditions. Perks & Benefits (W-2 Position)
