Position Overview The Kennel Attendant plays a key role in the daily care and well‑being of our dogs. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, energetic, and genuinely enjoys working with animals. No two days are the same — you'll be hands‑on, active, and part of a supportive team. Responsibilities Provide daily care for dogs & cats, including feeding, watering, and administering basic medications as directed Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces to maintain a safe, hygienic environment Provide 1 on 1 play time in a play yard Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns to management Assist with check‑ins, check‑outs, and communicating with pet owners Perform laundry, dishwashing, and general facility upkeep Follow all safety and handling protocols Qualifications Prior experience with dogs (professional or personal) preferred Ability to work in a physically active environment — lifting, walking, cleaning, and being on your feet Strong attention to detail and reliability Comfortable working in all weather conditions Weekend and holiday availability required Must be 18+ and able to pass a background check What We Offer A supportive, animal‑loving team environment Hands‑on experience with a variety of dog breeds and temperaments Opportunities for growth and additional responsibilities Employee discounts on boarding & grooming services Paid Time Off & Holiday pay Opportunity for overtime
