You will gain hands-on experience working with a variety of animals, primarily dogs, while learning the art of pet coat styling and grooming techniques. Our goal is to empower motivated team members to grow into professional pet groomers, ensuring every pet receives top-quality care and styling in a friendly, energetic environment. Duties Assist with animal handling and restraint to ensure safe grooming procedures for pets of all sizes and temperaments Support senior groomers in bathing, drying, brushing, and basic grooming tasks under supervision Learn and practice pet coat styling techniques to enhance appearance and comfort Engage with pet owners by communicating effectively about pet care needs and grooming preferences Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and work areas to uphold hygiene standards Participate in training sessions on receptionist duties and animal behavior management Skills Strong interest in animal care, and pet grooming techniques Prior veterinary experience or veterinary technician/assistant background is a plus Experience handling animals such as dogs, horses, or other companion animals Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members Ability to perform pet nail trimming, pet coat styling, and animal restraint safely and effectively Capable of heavy lifting to assist with kennel cleaning or moving supplies as needed Knowledge of animal handling protocols including animal restraint and pet safety Join us in this rewarding role where your enthusiasm for animals meets professional growth!
