Part-Time / Full-Time, Overnight Shifts About Us Mind Your Dog 2, LLC is a locally owned dog daycare and boarding facility in Middletown, RI, dedicated to providing safe, fun, and loving care for our furry guests. We're looking for a responsible, dog-loving individual to join our team as an Overnight Dog Daycare Attendant to help ensure our boarders are comfortable, safe, and well cared for through the night. Position Summary The Overnight Attendant is responsible for the safety and well-being of dogs staying overnight at our facility. This includes monitoring the dogs, handling late-night bathroom breaks, feeding, administering medication as needed, and keeping the facility clean and secure throughout the shift. Responsibilities Supervise and monitor dogs overnight to ensure their safety and comfort Conduct regular walk-throughs and welfare checks throughout the shift Provide scheduled bathroom breaks/yard time Feed dogs and administer medications according to individual care instructions Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces as needed Respond calmly and appropriately to any behavioral issues, anxiety, or emergencies Monitor for signs of illness or distress and alert management/on-call staff immediately if needed Maintain accurate overnight logs and incident reports Ensure all doors, gates, and kennels are properly secured at all times Assist with morning handoff/opening procedures for day staff Qualifications Genuine love for dogs and experience handling multiple dogs/breeds Prior experience in a dog daycare, boarding, veterinary, or animal care setting preferred Ability to stay alert and attentive during overnight hours Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Strong observational skills and sound judgment in emergency situations Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Physically able to walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbs Must be at least 18 years of age Reliable transportation to our Middletown, RI location Schedule Overnight shifts, [ 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM]. Availability on weekends and holidays is a plus. Compensation Pay based on experience
