Staying overnight in the client's home Providing evening and morning care for pets Feeding pets according to their established routines Providing walks, potty breaks, playtime, and enrichment Administering medications when applicable and within your training/comfort level Following detailed care instructions provided by the client and Junebug's Maintaining a clean and respectful environment within the home Bringing in mail, packages, or other basic home-care tasks when requested Communicating updates and sending photos to clients Monitoring pets for anything unusual and communicating concerns promptly Following Junebug's procedures for keys, home access, emergencies, and client communication Leaving the home clean, secure, and exactly as it was found What We're Looking For The right person is: Dependable and punctual Comfortable staying in someone else's home Trustworthy and respectful of clients' homes and privacy Calm and responsible when handling unexpected situations Comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities, and needs Able to follow detailed instructions A strong communicator Organized and attentive to detail Comfortable working independently without constant supervision Available for overnight stays, including weekends and holidays Professional and confident representing Junebug's with our clients Prior professional pet-care experience is strongly preferred, but we are willing to consider applicants with strong personal animal-care experience who demonstrate the skills and responsibility required for the position. Schedule Overnight care is scheduled based on client needs and availability.

This position may include:

Weeknight overnights Weekend overnights Holiday overnights Multiple consecutive nights when clients are traveling Because overnight bookings are often made well in advance, reliability and the ability to commit to scheduled stays are extremely important. Requirements Must be 18+ Reliable transportation Valid driver's license Ability to reliably travel to client homes throughout our service area Comfortable handling dogs safely Ability to stay overnight in client homes Ability to communicate professionally with clients and the Junebug's team Must be comfortable working independently Must pass a background check Must be able to provide reliable references

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
