Job Description

At Doggie Depot, we are passionate about providing top-notch grooming services and a loving environment for pets. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every dog leaves our salon looking and feeling their best. We are currently seeking a Part-Time or Full Time Dog Bather to join our caring and dynamic team. We are open Tuesday - Saturday from 8am until roughly 3pm. We are looking to add 1-2 team members to our salon with either Full Time or Part Time availability. Full Time would be 5 days a week, but not necessarily 40 hours every week. It's usually closer to 30 hours Part time could be 2-3 days a week (Fridays/Saturdays are a must!) This is a great opportunity for someone looking to experience the joys of working with animals and is a great job for someone who is considering joining the world of dog grooming but isn't sure where to start.
Duties Include:
Bathe and rinse pets using appropriate shampoos and conditioners Brush out and detangle fur as needed Trim nails, clean ears and pluck ear hair when applicable Assist with drying pets using safe techniques Maintain cleanliness and organization of bathing area Provide gentle handling and ensure the safety and comfort of pets during the bathing process
Requirements:
Experience in pet grooming or related field is preferred but not required Knowledge of basic animal handling techniques Ability to lift and move heavy animals as needed (50 or more pounds) Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively Willingness to learn and follow grooming protocols
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
