Role Overview:
As a Dog Daycare Attendant at Boujee Barkers, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to dogs in our daycare facility. Your role will involve ensuring the well-being, safety, and happiness of our canine guests while maintaining a clean and organized environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring they interact safely and positively.
- Monitor the physical and emotional health of the dogs, reporting any concerns to management.
- Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation of play areas, kennels, and equipment to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Administer basic care, including feeding, watering, and medication as required.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on their pets' behavior and activities.
- Follow all safety and emergency procedures to handle any incidents or accidents.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Passion for animals and previous experience working with dogs is preferred.
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and breed characteristics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
