Job Description:
Role Overview:
As a Dog Daycare Attendant at Boujee Barkers, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to dogs in our daycare facility. Your role will involve ensuring the well-being, safety, and happiness of our canine guests while maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring they interact safely and positively.
  • Monitor the physical and emotional health of the dogs, reporting any concerns to management.
  • Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation of play areas, kennels, and equipment to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Administer basic care, including feeding, watering, and medication as required.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on their pets' behavior and activities.
  • Follow all safety and emergency procedures to handle any incidents or accidents.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Passion for animals and previous experience working with dogs is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of dog behavior and breed characteristics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
