Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our furry guests. This role requires a strong passion for animals and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment. Must be extremely reliable with your own reliable transportation. A lot of walking, cleaning, feeding, etc... Please note that this is not just playing with dogs! There is a lot of physical work that goes into caring for our canine guests!

Available position:

7am

• 1pm (2 days a week) 2pm
• 9pm ( 2 days a week) Must be willing to work overtime when we are very busy!

Must be able to work Holidays and weekends!

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, and exercise.
• Clean and maintain kennels, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment
• Administer medications.
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel
• Handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with confidence and care
• Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, addressing their questions and concerns

Skills:

• Previous experience in pet care, veterinary assistance, or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues
