Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer or those who want training to become a groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and providing top-notch grooming services. If you have experience in pet grooming and handling various types of pets, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort during grooming sessions
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
- Monitor pets for any health issues or abnormalities and report them to the appropriate staff
Skills:
- Experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary technician, veterinary assistant, or animal care
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques for various types of pets
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
- Proficiency in animal restraint and handling techniques
- Physical ability for heavy lifting when necessary
- Familiarity with dog training or equine grooming is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact with pet owners effectively
Pay:
$32,500.00- $70,000.
