Responsibilities Safely handle and restrain dogs during grooming procedures to ensure their safety and comfort Perform pet coat styling, trimming, bathing, drying, brushing, and ear cleaning with precision and care Conduct pet nail trimming and paw pad maintenance to promote healthy paws Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, preferences, and aftercare instructions Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Assist with animal handling during intake and release processes, ensuring proper restraint techniques Support pet care activities such as feeding or administering basic veterinary-related tasks when needed Experience Previous experience in pet grooming or dog handling is highly preferred Knowledge of animal handling techniques including veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus Familiarity with pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, and animal restraint methods Experience working with a variety of animals including dogs and other companion animals Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners confidently and professionally Ability to lift heavy objects such as grooming equipment or large dogs safely and comfortably Background in veterinary or veterinary technician work, equine experience or kennel experience is advantageous Join us to make a difference in pets' lives by delivering top-tier grooming services with enthusiasm!
