Responsibilities Provide daily care for pets including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas through regular sanitization and organization Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal behavior understanding Monitor pets' health and behavior, reporting any concerns to supervisors promptly Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, and outdoor exercise activities to promote physical activity and mental stimulation Support pet grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing when needed Ensure compliance with safety protocols during heavy lifting, team lifting activities, and outdoor work tasks Requirements Prior experience working with animals in a pet boarding facility, or similar environment is highly preferred Knowledge of animal handling, restraint techniques and breed differences Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions Experience with pet care facility sanitization and cleanliness standards Familiarity with dog training principles and animal behavior is a plus Must demonstrate reliability, compassion for animals, and a proactive attitude toward safety and hygiene standardsJoin us in creating a safe haven where pets feel loved and cared for every day!
