Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dog Walker/Kennel Assistant to join our animal care team. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for animals, excellent handling skills, and a proactive attitude toward pet care and facility maintenance. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe and engaging walks for dogs, cleaning kennels, assisting with kennel operations, and ensuring the well-being of all animals in our care. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on animal welfare and customer service excellence. Responsibilities Conduct daily dog walking sessions for roughly 1-2 hours per morning (starting at 7am), ensuring each pet receives appropriate care. Assist with kennel cleaning, sanitization, and overall facility maintenance to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety. Handle animals with care using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff. Participate in team lifting tasks when handling large or heavy animals or equipment to prevent injury and maintain a safe work environment. Experience Experience in pet sitting or pet care facilities demonstrates strong animal handling skills and reliability. Kennel experience is preferred but not required, including cleaning protocols and managing multiple animals simultaneously. Outdoor work experience supports the physical demands of walking dogs in various weather conditions.
