ABOUT THE POSITION

This is a PART-TIME, As-Needed role with NO guaranteed or set hours . It is designed to provide supplemental income , not full-time employment. Our busiest times for dog walks are roughly 9am - 2pm.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Providing midday dog walks in clients' neighborhoods Completing adventure walks, including safely transporting dogs to and from curated locations Completing sponsored shelter breakouts for shelter dogs at Charleston Animal Society Following detailed care instructions for each pet Communicating with clients through our pet care app Writing detailed visit reports and capturing high-quality photos and videos Showing up on time and being dependable. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR A

genuine love of animals and comfort working independently Strong communication and customer service skills Availability between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday Midday dog walks (9 AM to 2 PM) is our busiest time A valid driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle Must reside in one of our service areas (North Charleston, Hanahan, Park Circle preferred) Ability to pass a background and dmv check A Quick Reality Check Yes, you'll get fresh air, exercise, and lots of tail wags. But you'll also be: Walking in heat, humidity, and occasional rain Managing different dog personalities and energy levels Cleaning up waste and occasional messes Sticking to a schedule and showing up no matter what If that still sounds like your kind of day, you'll fit right in here.
