DOG GROOMER Join our fantastic team of pet professional s! > Tuesday thru Saturday ( closed Sunday , Monday and one Saturday a month) > Large client base >50% Commission + Tips > Flexible schedule > minimum of 3 years grooming experience required Duties Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling coats to meet breed standards or owner preferences Handle animals with care and confidence, ensuring their safety and comfort during grooming procedures Use animal restraint techniques effectively to maintain safety for pets and staff during grooming sessions Trim pet nails accurately and safely while communicating with pet owners about grooming needs and recommendations Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use Assist with pet handling tasks such as kennel cleaning Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with pet owners, explaining grooming procedures, and addressing questions or concerns Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling skills to ensure safe restraint and comfort during grooming Familiarity with pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, animal restraint methods, and general pet care practices Ability to lift heavy objects (heavy lifting) such as large dogs or equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members effectively Strong attention to detail combined with a compassionate approach to animal handling Join us in creating a positive environment where pets feel loved and cared for!
