Duties Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling of various dog breeds to meet owner preferences and breed standards Safely handle animals using proper restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety during grooming procedures Conduct pet coat styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other grooming tasks with precision and care Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming requests, provide updates on pet behavior, and offer advice on at-home pet care Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools are sanitized and equipment is in excellent working condition Assist with animal restraint and handling during grooming sessions to minimize stress for pets Support kennel cleaning, pet sitting duties, and heavy lifting as needed to ensure a safe environment for animals and staff Requirements Proven experience in dog grooming or pet styling; veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus Strong dog handling skills with the ability to manage animals of different temperaments confidently Knowledge of animal handling techniques, animal restraint methods, and pet care best practices Excellent communication skills to interact positively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for kennel cleaning or transporting animals Familiarity with veterinary experience or equine experience is advantageous but not required Prior experience with pet nail trimming, animal restraint, veterinary assistance, or kennel work is beneficial A dedicated team player committed to providing exceptional animal care in a lively environment Join us in making a difference in pets' lives through expert grooming and compassionate care!
