Duties:

• Groom pets according to client specifications and breed standards
• Bathe, brush, and trim pets' fur
• Perform nail trims and ear cleanings
• Ensure pets are comfortable and safe during the grooming process
• Handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
• Assist with other tasks related to pet care as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a pet groomer or veterinary technician is preferred
• Knowledge of different dog breeds and their grooming needs
• Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
• Strong communication skills to interact with pet owners effectively
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy pets if necessary (80lb weight limit for shop)
• Attention to detail to ensure quality grooming results
• Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed
