We're looking for a friendly, dependable Retail Associate & Dog Bather to join our Woof Gang team. This is a hands-on position that combines customer service and retail responsibilities with bathing and caring for dogs in our grooming salon. We're a locally owned, two-location business that has been serving our community for nearly eight years. We take a lot of pride in creating a welcoming environment for our clients, providing excellent care for their pups, and building a team that can depend on one another. What You'll Do This position will work in both the retail store and grooming salon , with responsibilities that may include: Greeting clients and their pups and providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service Helping customers select treats, food, toys and other products Operating the register and handling customer transactions Answering phones, scheduling appointments and assisting grooming clients Stocking products and keeping the retail store clean, organized and inviting Bathing dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments Drying, brushing and preparing dogs as part of the grooming process Assisting groomers as needed Cleaning bathing and grooming areas and helping maintain a safe, sanitary environment Completing opening, closing and routine store responsibilities Working cooperatively with both our retail and grooming teams Who We're Looking For The right person doesn't necessarily need previous pet-industry experience. We're happy to train someone who has the right attitude and work ethic. We're looking for someone who: Truly enjoys being around dogs and is comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and energy levels Is friendly and comfortable talking with customers Is dependable and takes their scheduled shifts seriously Can follow instructions and complete assigned responsibilities without needing constant supervision Is willing to jump in and help wherever needed Works well as part of a team Can stay productive during both busy and slower periods Is comfortable with cleaning and the less-glamorous parts of working with animals Is able to work on their feet and perform the physical duties involved in bathing and handling dogs Is interested in learning about pet products, nutrition, grooming and animal care Schedule & Availability Our stores are open seven days a week, so weekend availability is important . Availability for a combination of weekdays, evenings and weekends is preferred. This position may work at both of our locations , so reliable transportation is required. We are looking for someone who can become a consistent part of our team rather than someone looking for only very short-term employment.
