Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Experienced/Lead Kennel Technician to join our team. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care, cleanliness and support to our furry guests. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and hands-on animal handling. Duties:

• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and play areas
• Feed and provide fresh water to animals
• Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
• Exercise and socialize animals through playtime
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals
• Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing
• Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior
• Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a kennel or animal care setting is a must.
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
• Knowledge of basic animal care and behavior is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in all degrees of weather, hot and cold, including shoveling snow.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
