Job Overview Join our elite pet care team as a Dog Daycare Attendant/Kennel Attendant! In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for ensuring dogs are safe, happy, and well-cared for during their stay. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is passionate about providing the best care possible for our furry guests, and is willing to learn and follow instructions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, engage with animals daily, and develop and grow your skills in dog handling and care. Responsibilities Supervise and monitor dogs during playtime in our outdoor and indoor play yards. Your number one priority will be ensuring the health and safety of our precious guests! Become a confident, attentive, and engaged pack leader to promote positive socialization experiences and eliminate forseeable injuries Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all pet care facilities through thorough cleaning and sanitization procedures to ensure our facility continues to meet our strict hygiene standards Assist team members as needed to provide coverage for breaks and special projects Maintain clean and safe surroundings for our guests at all times Reliable transportation and consistent, on time attendance are a must! Qualifications Prior veterinary technician, veterinary assistant, or boarding/daycare experience is highly valued A passion for providing the best possible animal care is essential Knowledge of dog behavior is very helpful, but not required Positive, helpful attitude toward managers, team leads, and other team members Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward both pets and owners Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining the highest standards of animal safety and care We have an experienced team who are committed to providing opportunities that foster your growth in animal care while supporting the well-being of every furry guest.
