Candidate must be available to regularly work Saturdays and Sundays. Duties Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling of various dog breeds to meet owner preferences and breed standards Handle animals with care and confidence, ensuring safe restraint during grooming procedures Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat maintenance to promote overall health and hygiene Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming requests and provide advice on pet coat styling and care routines Assist with animal handling tasks such as kennel cleaning, pet sitting, and managing animal behavior during grooming sessions Maintain a clean, organized grooming area and ensure all tools are sanitized according to safety standards Support additional animal care duties as needed, including basic veterinary assistance or veterinary technician tasks if qualified Skills Strong dog handling skills with the ability to manage animals of different temperaments confidently Experience in pet grooming techniques, pet coat styling, and pet nail trimming Knowledge of animal restraint methods to ensure safety during grooming procedures Background in veterinary or veterinary technician work, with familiarity in animal health and behavior management Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners about grooming needs and animal care advice Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or animal handling tasks Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for providing exceptional pet care experiences Join us in creating happy, healthy pets by delivering expert grooming services that leave every dog looking fabulous!
