Overview We are seeking a dedicated Pet Resort/Kennel Technician to join our team in providing exceptional care for animals in our pet resort and kennel facility. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about animal welfare, with experience in pet handling, grooming, and veterinary assistance. The technician will ensure a safe, clean, and loving environment for pets while supporting the daily operations of our facility. Candidates should be reliable, compassionate, and capable of handling physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting. Prior experience in veterinary or animal care settings is highly valued.

Duties Provide attentive care to pets including feeding, cleaning, and administering medications as needed Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces to promote health and hygiene ,cleaning of Indoor and outdoor Areas Perform pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and trimming fur Monitor animals for signs of illness or distress and communicate observations to veterinary staff or management Engage with pet owners during drop-off and pick-up to ensure excellent customer service Assist with pet sitting duties when required, ensuring pets are comfortable during their stay Dog and Cat and Owner Interaction Management and Staff Communication Check In and Out Procedures Cash and Credit Card Transactions Equipment Management Requirements Prior experience in pet care, kennel work, or veterinary assistance preferred Knowledge of dog training, animal restraint, and handling techniques Experience with pet grooming, pet sitting, or veterinary technician work is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift Strong animal handling skills with patience and compassion for all species and temperaments Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends if needed This position offers an opportunity to work in a caring environment dedicated to animal well-being while developing valuable skills in pet care and animal handling.
