Suite Life Pet Resort in Oak Ridge, TN is looking for a dependable, hard-working Kennel Tech to join our team. This is a hands-on, physically active job in a busy kennel environment, but it also includes direct customer service and front desk responsibilities . Team members are not only caring for dogs — they are also helping the people who love them! That means the right candidate must be comfortable working with dogs and working with our awesome clients . Our team members spend most of their shift on their feet caring for dogs, maintaining a clean and safe facility, assisting pet owners, answering phones, making reservations, and using the computer to help keep daily operations running smoothly. This position involves LOTS of cleaning, lifting up to 50 lbs, working in a fast-paced environment, and being comfortable with the noise and activity of a busy kennel atmosphere. Applicants with experience in animal care, veterinary clinics, farms, horse barns, shelters, grooming facilities, boarding kennels, daycare environments, retail, reception, or other physically active customer-facing roles often do especially well in this position. Daily Responsibilities Supervising dog playgroups Feeding and caring for boarding dogs Cleaning kennels and facility areas Laundry and sanitation tasks Maintaining a safe environment for dogs and staff Assisting with basic dog care and facility operations Providing exceptional customer service to pet owners Answering phones and assisting clients professionally Making reservations and helping manage scheduling Using the computer for client communication and daily tasks Supporting front desk operations as needed Requirements MUST BE Dependable and punctual! Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 30.0 per week
