$12.00 per hour Job description: Job Summary Looking for Friday - Sunday help We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our at-home kennel, cattery, and farm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care. As a Kennel Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of animals in our care, maintaining a clean environment, and assisting with various tasks related to pet care. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising pets. Maintain cleanliness in common areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals. Manage Goldens of various temperaments safely and effectively. Skills Experience in pet grooming is preferred but not required. Proficiency in pet wellness tasks. Familiarity with kennel operations and care best practices. Nuturing demeanor that demonstrate compassion and respect for all creatures. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
