Overview:
The Pet Bather is responsible for providing grooming and bathing services for pets in a safe, clean, and friendly environment. This role involves ensuring the pets are comfortable during the bathing process and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the grooming area.Key Responsibilities:
Gently bathe and dry pets using appropriate techniques and products. Brush and comb pets to remove loose fur and mats. Inspect pets for skin issues, parasites, or other health concerns and report findings to the grooming staff or management. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including tools and equipment. Provide a positive experience for pets, ensuring their comfort and safety during grooming sessions. Interact with pet owners to discuss grooming needs and any specific instructions. Follow all safety and health regulations to maintain a sanitary environment. Qualifications We're looking for:Experience:
Previous experience in pet grooming or bathing preferred but not required.Knowledge:
Basic understanding of different breeds and grooming needs.Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with pets and their owners. Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments. Good physical stamina, as the role may require standing for extended periods and lifting heavier pets.Attitude:
