Job Overview Monday- Friday you set the schedule Starting pay is 30% of the groom with room to make more. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet our clients' expectations. Your role will involve working closely with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and preferences, while also ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the animals. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and any concerns observed during grooming. Handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Keep accurate records of services performed and any special instructions from pet owners. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Experience Previous experience in pet grooming is mandatory. Strong skills in animal handling to ensure safety for both pets and staff. Customer service experience is essential to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs. Familiarity with pet care practices, or veterinary assistance is a plus.
