Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service. As an Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of the animals in our care while also delivering outstanding customer service to pet owners. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Weekday Hours our 7am-1pm and 1pm-7pm Weekend hours our Sat- 8am-2pm and 5pm-7pm Sun- 8am-11am and 4pm-7pm This is a 7 day a week work week must be able to work Holiday's and weekends Paid weekly on Thursdays please feel free to reach out with any questions Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, cleaning, walking, . Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management. Assist with animal handling during training sessions or veterinary visits. Maintain cleanliness of animal living areas and equipment. Engage with pet owners, providing information and support regarding their pets' needs. Support dog training initiatives as needed, ensuring positive reinforcement techniques are used. Perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or larger animals. Collaborate with team members to create a safe and welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. Skills Proficient in animal handling techniques, especially with dogs. Experience in pet care, grooming, or veterinary assistance is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Capability for heavy lifting and physical activity throughout the day. Knowledge of dog training methods is a plus. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare.
