In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with pet owners to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean and safe environment for all animals. Duties Bathe and dry pets according to breed standards, groomer requirements, and owner preferences. Handle animals safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Provide a stress free environment for the pets by providing a caring and compassionate experience, totally focused on them for the best possible experience. Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area, including washing equipment, tools, supplies, and towels after use. Maintain Supply usage by ensuring shampoo and conditioners are mixed and used correctly. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with the groomers and front desk about pets' needs and grooming options. Assist in the care of animals by monitoring their behavior and health during grooming sessions. Provide feedback and dermatology care for pets as needed, ensuring correct product is used for the pets' needs. Support the team in other animal care tasks as needed, including kennel maintenance, cleaning, and light lifting of pets or equipment. Requirements Previous experience in pet care or bathing is required. Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for pet owners. Ability to handle various breeds of dogs and other animals with confidence. Knowledge of animal behavior and basic care practices is a plus. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as needed (up to 50 pounds). A passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing excellent care.
